I've stayed there twice, alone, and nothing happened either time. I also had a good chat with Carol the first time I went and she told me straight up that she has a great time tapping and banging on the walls in answer to the questions of paranormal teams. She gets drunk and has a good giggle at all the screaming. She can hear everything through those walls. It's just a scam. A house with a made-up back story, aimed at the naive and gullible, who are open to suggestion and are easily frightened.

I went to Dalhousie castle once during my aunties wedding, a known haunted castle, I was playing up the stairs with my brother and cousin, I heard footsteps coming down the stairs, not normal footsteps, it wasn’t human, more like a four legged creature, that came down the stairs but invisible, we were in shock cause apparently the castle is haunted by a ghost dog, and we went down the haunted corridor, a dark place, pitch black, no light, very creepy and scary, next to the chapel, a former butlers place were the would work or a place were wine is stored or something say, I opened the door and saw a massive flash, and me and my cousin ran terrified, apparently a butler haunts the corridor, try investigating Dalhousie castle you may catch something,

I would agree with you - this is one of those places that maybe once had activity but even the ghosts wouldn't be staying around to deal with the shit that goes on day after day and week after week. It's done and dusted in there.

The black monk is real I threw a lot of abuse to it and nobody did only me and I came out saying a load of rubbish to weeks later at home my whole bed room was In turmoil to me he went for me all the time I had to fight him off me for two yrs of staying down stairs I was so drained and tired every day my family thought I had lost the plot it carmed down but it followed me to my new house and comes a goes now I can not get rid of it I had to pry a lot to carm it down so be very careful full what you want out of these ghost places I would not wish this on any one hell ❤
